BeefBank is a Charity that’s main aim is to provide fresh meat to the Foodbank organisations for distribution to community and welfare organisations (at no cost) to enable them to provide fresh meals full of protein to the homeless and marginalised members of our community. For more information please go to http://www.beefbank.org
Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, providing over 63 million meals a year to over 2400 charities and 1000 schools around the country.
Foodbank is a non-denominational, non-profit organisation which acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who feed the hungry. It was first established in 1992 in NSW and now has a presence in every state and the Northern Territory with distribution centres in all state capitals as well as a number of regional centres. We operate with a staff of approximately 100 employees and over 3,000 volunteers.
The Rotary Fun Run has been supporting Foodbank via its Beef Bank donations for many years and we are now stepping up our support to include a monetary donation direct to Foodbank so they can continue their amazing service.
